Privacy policy
Microwave link calculation and organisation dashboard · effective from 19 October 2026
This page describes which personal data the VanCo calculation tool processes, why, how long it keeps it and what rights you have. It supplements the general VanCo.cz privacy policy.
In short: The calculation works without registration. You only need an account to save calculations and sites and to work together in an organisation. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and we do not sell data. You can download your data and delete your account yourself at any time in the account menu → My data and privacy.
1. Controller

2. What data we process and why

We do not sell data, we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling and we do not send you marketing messages without your consent.
3. Who can see the data
- Colleagues in your organisation see your name and e-mail and the calculations and sites you share with them. The organisation administrator manages members and can delete calculations shared with the organisation.
- Other organisations only see sites your organisation publishes, together with your organisation profile.
- The site owner receives your tower placement inquiry (name, e-mail, phone, company, message) and acts as an independent controller when handling it.
- Google (Google Maps Platform) – when you use the map, your browser sends Google your IP address, the route coordinates and searched addresses for the map, place search and elevations. The page also loads Google Fonts. Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; details in Google's privacy policy.
- ARES register (Czech Ministry of Finance) – when registering a company we verify its ID; we only send the company ID, not your data.
- VanCo processors – hosting and e-mail service providers who process data only on our instructions.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We only use strictly necessary cookies without which the page does not work – no consent is required for them. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

The page uses browser storage (localStorage) to remember your settings – light/dark theme, your link comparison, map layer display and news you have read. This data stays in your browser only and is not sent to us; you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser.
5. Your rights
- Access and portability – download all your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) in the account menu → My data and privacy.
- Rectification – you can change your name in the account menu; we will correct other data on request.
- Erasure – delete your account yourself in the account menu → My data and privacy. Calculations shared with the organisation stay there without your name, the others are detached from the account and hidden. Data we have to keep (e.g. inquiries for the period stated above) is deleted when that period ends.
- Restriction and objection – you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Complaint – to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
Send other requests to obchod@vanco.cz. We will reply within one month at the latest.
6. Security
Communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash, sign-in is protected by a limit on attempts and forms by protection against forged requests. Only a limited group of VanCo staff has access to the data.
7. Changes
We update this text when the processing changes. The current version is always on this page; the effective date is shown at the top.
