Terms of use and disclaimer

Important: The calculation results are indicative. They do not replace a design, an on-site survey or verification with the equipment manufacturer and do not guarantee the availability, capacity or functionality of the link. Have the design verified before ordering equipment or building the link – we will be glad to help.
1. Operator and scope
The calculation tool and the organisation dashboard (the “tool”) are operated by VanCo.cz s.r.o., Vojtěšská 17, Prague 1, Czech Republic, Company ID 25762702, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 67978 (“VanCo”).
The tool is intended for professionals and businesses for preliminary design and comparison of microwave links. By using the tool, and for registered users by ticking the consent during registration, you agree to these terms.
2. Nature of the results
The calculation is based on ITU-R recommendations (in particular P.530-19 and related ones), on equipment parameters in the catalogue according to manufacturer data and on third-party terrain and map data. The real behaviour of a link is affected by many factors that the calculation does not include or includes only in a simplified way, for example:
- obstacles on the path (buildings, vegetation, new construction) and the accuracy of the terrain elevation model,
- the accuracy of the entered coordinates, antenna heights and other inputs,
- the actual parameters, firmware and configuration of the specific equipment and antennas, installation quality and alignment,
- interference, reflections and local climatic conditions that differ from the statistical models.
The results are therefore neither design documentation nor binding data, and VanCo does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. The user is responsible for verifying the design and for decisions based on it.
3. Fees and frequency authorisation
The annual frequency fees are indicative and reflect the regulations known at the date of the tool's last update. The amount set by the competent authority (ČTÚ in the Czech Republic, the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in Slovakia) is always binding. Obtaining an individual frequency authorisation and meeting other obligations is the responsibility of the link operator.
4. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The tool is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, VanCo is not liable for any damage or other harm arising from the use of or inability to use the tool, reliance on its results, errors in data or service outages – in particular for lost profit, costs of equipment, installation, redesign or delays.
This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor to harm to natural rights of a person, where liability cannot be limited by law.
Binding technical and commercial terms for the supply of equipment and services are always agreed separately in an offer or contract.
5. Availability and changes
VanCo may modify, restrict or discontinue the tool at any time, even without prior notice, and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the preservation of saved data. Keep important calculations outside the tool as well (PDF, data export).
6. Account and user content
- Provide truthful information when registering and protect your login details against misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You are responsible for the content you enter into the tool (calculations, sites, notes, inquiries). Only enter data you are entitled to use – in particular personal data of third parties and information about other parties' sites.
- By publishing a site you agree that other organisations in the tool can see it; public sites are approved by VanCo before publication.
- The organisation administrator is responsible for managing its members and shared content.
- VanCo may remove content or block an account that violates these terms or the law.
7. Prohibited conduct
It is not permitted to circumvent the tool's security, load it with automated requests, bulk-download the catalogue or other users' data or misuse the inquiry forms for unsolicited messages.
8. Third-party data
Maps, place search and elevations are provided by Google Maps Platform; by using them you also agree to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service. Information about towers and sites of other parties (e.g. Vantage Towers, WIA) is indicative, without any guarantee of available space; placement terms are agreed directly with the site owner.
9. Intellectual property
The tool, its design, calculation procedures and equipment catalogue are protected by the rights of VanCo and its partners. You may use the outputs (PDF reports, comparisons) for your own needs and in dealings with your customers.

11. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Czech law; disputes are decided by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. VanCo may change the terms – it will publish the new version on this page and notify registered users in the application or by e-mail. By continuing to use the tool after a change takes effect you agree to it; if you do not agree, you can delete your account at any time.
